Livity Records is a record store based in france, located in Lyon’s 5th arrondissement. Originally operating as Livity Reggae in 2005, it was taken over by Malo, aka Mighty Karma, in 2016. Since its inception, the shop has been an environment influenced by Jamaican, Ethiopian, and Pan-African culture. The store primarily sells vinyl records and CDs of music such as reggae, roots, ska, dub, dancehall, as well as hip-hop and Afrobeat. The shop also carries other products, including a clothing collection, a collection of African art and handcrafted jewelry, Ital cosmetics, and books that introduce Rastafari spirituality and the Pan-African movement.

Livity Records est un disquaire situé à Lyon dans le 5ème arrondissement, actif depuis 2005 sous le nom de Livity reggae, il fut repris par Malo Berthelot aka Mighty Karma en 2016. Depuis sa création, le shop est un environnement influencé par la culture, Jamaïcaine, Ethiopienne et panafricaine. Le magasin vend principalement vinyles et CD de musiques comme le reggae, le roots, le ska, le dub, le dancehall mais aussi du hiphop et de l’afro. La boutique dispose également d’autres produits comme une collection de vêtement, une collection d’art et de bijoux artisanaux africains, des produits cosmetiques Ital, ainsi que des livres qui introduisent à la spiritualité rastafari et au mouvement panafricain.

Livity Records was founded in 2018 with its first release, “Lyrics Plantations” (YT ft. High budub). Continuing its productions, the label has gradually surrounded itself with local and international artists. Livity Records is at the heart of independent music production in Lyon, playing concerts but also producing many local artists and important collaborations with international artists such as Max Romeo, Uk Principal, Speng Bonb, Idren natural and many others. In 2022, several singles produced entirely at Livity Records studio were released. Numerous albums and singles are also currently in production. Livity Records is in constant development. The label explores the different styles that reggae offers and forges its identity through positive, uplifting, or activist messages, imbued with the teachings of His Imperial Majesty Qedamawi Haile Selassie, Emperor of Ethiopia.

Le Label Livity Records est né en 2018 avec sa première release «Lyrics Plantations » ( YT ft. High budub), continuant les productions, le label s’est entouré au fil du temps d’artistes locaux et internationaux. Livity Records s’inscrit au cœur de la production musicale indépendante Lyonnaise, enchainant les concerts mais aussi en produisant de nombreux artistes locaux des collaborations importantes avec des artistes internationaux comme Max Romeo, Uk Principal, Speng Bonb, Idren natural et bien d’autre. En 2022 plusieurs singles 100% produit à Livity Records studio voient le jours. De nombreux albums et singles sont en cours également en cours de production. Livity Records est en développement constant. Le Label explore les differents style qu’offre le reggae et forge son identité par des messages positifs, élévateur ou Militant, Imprégné des enseignements de sa majesté Imperial Haile Selassie 1er, empereur d’Ethiopie
