Blessed greetings to one and all in the name of
HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY QUEDEMAWI HAILE SELASSIE and HER IMPERIAL MAJESTY WOIZERO MENEN!
The first year since the founding of the RNS is soon over. A lot has happened, way more than we imagined on the 11th of January 2025. On that day, we started out with 15 souls taking steps way bigger than they appeared at the time. A lot has changed in this short time, we are now soon reaching the number of 50 sisters and brothers in the congregation. We set out a call, and many answered. Not just in Switzerland, but also from Germany, France, Austria and the global community thanks to Lioness Cristal and Binghi Pelé.
Adapting to changes is part of this journey called life. But the promises and the Mission Statement agreed upon that day in January still stands! We aim is to Inite through JAH works, to support the community home and abroad! To act locally and support globally, is we way to go.
Some highlights of what was accomplished in this year:
*Locally we held 6 Gatherings and established the HQ in Möriken, Switzerland.
*Globally we established the Sunday Rastafari Reasoning on teams and where able to raise funds for the following projects:
– Bathroom renovation Haile Selassie High School, Jamaica
– Renovation Nyahbinghi Order Tabernacle, Shashamene Ethiopia
– Hurricane Melissa Relief Jamaica, ongoing https://www.gofundme.com/f/chartity-hurrican-jamaica
The above mentioned projects have been supported in cooperation with Honorable Mama Askale, Honorable Binghi James (Peacemakers/RMO/EWF Chapter 37) and the help of Honorable Binghi Pelé who made this links possible.
A New Name
Through this work, we experienced that the need for Inity, Organization and Centralization is big in Europe and all over the globe.
We horizon has widened, our duty is clear. We started out with the first steps and JAH RASTAFARI led we direction.
So the Rastafari Nation Switzerland has decided ,with the council of Honorable Binghi Pelé to be of service to each and every Rastafari sister and brother, wherever they may reside. Thus the congregation voted on a new name:
Generall Assembly
On January 10th 2026 we will hold the first general assembly and establish an association according to Swiss law as Rastafari United Nations.
On that day, we will be voting on the articles of association and the executive committee consisting of:
